Magic Of Makeups

I was rummaging through my lippies drawer the other day when I pulled these out:

 From top to bottom:

• Vanilla
• Starfruit
• Raspberry
• Grapefruit
• Brown Sugar
• Apricot

I've been religiously using them (as you can see, Grapefruit is almost gone) cos if I continued to ignore them, they would probably start to rot, like literally. I had to throw out a Guerlain eyeshadow palette which was infested with mould. Omg. Gross.

Let's hope I don't find any more nasty surprises the next time I do a cleanup of my stash. Gah.

Miz Rowena over at cosmetic-candy was having a blog sale so I decided to take some stuff off her hands. Forgive the blurry pictures. I was using my handphone camera.

A pity that the chewy sweets she included burst out of their wrappers and ruined the packaging for the Twilight lipgloss.

Yup you read me right. I bought a lipgloss which has got the word 'Twilight' embossed on it. I'm nuts, I know. And it doesn't help that the lipgloss smells nasty and has gritty pieces of glitter in it. Yuck. I can't help but wonder if the other products on this site are worth checking out (not that I will of cos). Total waste of money man.

I haven't really tried out the rest of the goodies, except for the Too Faced Lock Down Cream Eyeshadow. Maybe I'll give the NYX eyeshadow a go soon.

There were sales and promotions everywhere, and I couldn't resist the temptation. I shopped up a storm at Watson's, The FaceShop, Nature Republic and Sasa (as you can see).

I also picked up a few bottles of nail polishes which I forgot to photograph. Maybe I'll do a nail polish collection post another time.

As promised, here's a coral/bronzey themed look.

Hmmm actually it looks more purplish than coral huh.

Well no choice cos my lid area is tiny compared to Julie's!

Even after layering on the bronzer, I still looked quite pale =.=

What look should I do next?

I have 3 weaknesses...no, make that 4. Makeup, accessories, clothes and food. And maybe a 5th one: pretty boys! ;)

I always find myself spending most of my meagre wage on my weaknesses ('cept for the last of cos. I wish). *Ahem* Yeah so let me just share with you some of the stuff I've been indulging in.

Do note though that I did not buy them all at once. That'd be crazy, no?

Ok these (other than the Marjolica foundation case and Revlon lipstick) came from the Metro Warehouse sale a couple of weeks back.

I've never tried Paul & Joe products before so I decided to give them a shot. I got a lippie and 2 eyeshadows. Quite sweet ya?

The lipstick has a sheer formula so it goes on kinda shimmery and shiny.

Don't the eyeshadows put you in the mood for summer?

Then I also got the Canmake Cream Cheek blush in No. 03.

I'm intending to use it as a base for my powder blushes to make them last longer on my face. Let's hope it doesn't turn all oily on me.

The BHG sale made me grab this limited edition purple gel liner from Maybelline (which everyone should have by now I think).

Oh oh then this came in the mail today!

To be honest, I'm rather leery of purchasing from blog sales. But Rowena aka cosmetic-candy is the sweetest! Sweets! Geddit? Lol.

I'm really excited about trying out the Stila bronzer. With a light hand, I should be able to make it work for me.
