Speaking of smoky eyes...
How's this for smoky? Wore this out for dinner with a couple of my gal pals at Bugis. Oops please excuse that annoying stray strand of hair running across my forehead.
Gotta warn you first though, this is gonna be a picture heavy post cos I was in a narcissistic mood that night. Therefore if you don't feel like looking at me, do feel free to close your browser window. Like, NOW. Don't say I didn't warn you ah.
So without further ado, I'm gonna drown you with closeups of this ugly mug of mine tee hee.
Ooh me is liking the purple glitter here.
Random observation: You know, after having to wake up every day to this mien for almost 30 years, I've come to realise that the left side of my face photographs better. I guess that's what I'd call my best angle. Do you have one too? Or are you one of those fortunate people who looks good at any angle? Pfft. Lucky bitches.

Btw I'm wearing my new Seeshell EO21 Grey circle lenses. Aren't they pretty? I was originally aiming for a lighter pair but after thinking long and hard about it I felt that these would look better i.e. not so weird. And I was right. Under natural lighting, it shows up as a subtle tinge of slate grey. At least I won't go around looking like I have cataracts in my eyes.
More camwhoring shots.
This was the first time that I attempted such a strongly shaped smoky eye. In a daring move, I extended my eyeshadow base almost all the way to the ends of my brows, in a cat-eye shape. Then I slapped on Young Punk and Ransom with some frantic blending action thrown in.
Ever since I started experimenting with layering cream and powder blushes, I've never looked back. South Beach and Terra Cotta worked beautifully together without turning muddy on me. Not bad for a first time collaboration ya? And I must say that NYX blushes are so madly pigmented that I only had to run my brush lightly over the pan to pick up the colour. Loves!
The following pictures were taken by my friends (with iphone and Nikon DSLR).
She had to literally beg me to smile lol.
The bright light from the Ma Maison billboard gave me a freaky right eye.
After a very nice dinner, we adjourned to the iluma Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf where we continued to camwhore (or rather, I did).
Interesting 'mafia-ish' shot. Check out fedora guy behind me.
And then the 'King of Pop' decided to pay us a visit.
Favourite shot of that night! All that's missing is that bling bling white glove 8-P
