Would anyone be interested in some handmade earrings/bracelets?

I seldom wear greens but I've always been drawn to this colour somehow, so I tried it on this special day. This was the day where at least 3/4 of Singapore was in the theatres watching The Avengers. Which was a great show by the way. Can't wait to watch it again!

I even had green nails to match!

My last ASOS haul was made on 15 January 2012 and it really WAS my LAST ASOS haul. Due to too many lost packages, I have decided to stop shopping there.
So here's my last batch of purchases from ASOS.
Vero Moda Barocco Print Shift Dress
Short shift dress by Vero Moda. Featuring a graphic baroque-inspired print pattern with a plain top panel, a slash neckline, short styling with an A-line flared fit through the body, long blouson sleeves with elasticated cuffs and a lightweight fluid finish.
Original £24, now £15.50
I have been wearing this to death cos it's so flattering and comfortable. Sadly, the fly in the ointment is the static. It would stick to all the places it should not and make me worry about exposing half a butt cheek while walking =.= Any good solutions for removing static from clothes? Help please!
ASOS Wrap Dress with Cut out Back
Long sleeve dress, featuring a gathered wrap design to the front, with a plunging v-neckline, fitted style through the body and cut out detail to the back.
Original £35, now £15
I bought this in the wrong size but it still fit, kinda. Damn saddlebags make any fitted dress look horrid on me. When will I ever learn :(
ASOS Sleeveless Satin Tie Pocket Front Blouse
Tie detail blouse, featuring a point collar with removable satin tie fastening, sleeveless styling, twin patch pockets to the chest, concealed button through fastening to front, and a central pleat to reverse, in a semi sheer finish.
Original £22, now £12
I have the perfect long black skirt to go this with. Schoolmarmish look eh?
Vila Roll Neck with Button Detail
Jersey top by Vila. Crafted in a soft fine gauge jersey fabric. Featuring a press stud fastening roll neck with a split draped design and button embellishments, long sleeves with gathering to the shoulders, and a relaxed fit.
Original £25, now £11
Very soft, very comfy. Very nice.
ASOS Swing Dress with Necklace
Swing dress, featuring a metallic embellished necklace design to the neckline, halterneck style with deep pleats to the front and a plunging open back.
Original £40, now £15
Again, wrong size but nothing that a strategically placed safety pin can't solve.
ASOS Lace Dress with Contrast Collar
Lace dress, featuring a contrast '60s style collar, short, semi sheer sleeves with buttoned cuffs, a soft A-line skirt with semi sheer, lace overlay and a concealed zip closure to reverse.
Original £40, now £21.50
How cute is this right? Gonna wear it out soon!
ASOS Pleated Trapeze Cami
Trapeze camisole top, featuring a V-neckline with shoestring halterneck straps, a sharp pleated finish, an open back with a single string strap to the centre and a trapeze swing shape in a silk-touch finish.
Original £30, now £9
This is for those unbearably hot and humid days.
ASOS XL Rose Hair Garland
Rose garland by ASOS Collection. Featuring an oversized, multi rose design set on an elasticated head band.
Original £8, now £2
Have a vague idea to use this for Halloween.
And Mary Stone Ring
Silver-tone ring by And Mary. Featuring a slim curved shank with a small round stone design set on a narrow axis, with a high shine finish.
Original £9, now £5
Wish I had bought more of this in the other colours. Oh well.

On this beautiful Saturday, I not only dragged my colleague to MBS with me to check out the Titanic Exhibition, I made her take many pictures of me too! 8-P
First time here at the 'five fingers place'.
A long, long queue awaited us at the ticketing counter.
Can see the other 'ship' from here.
Picture time!
Yet another long, long queue to get into the exhibit.
Will we survive?
Me with my Boarding Pass. The actual cost of one back then was mind-boggling.
Hi Jack, Cal and Rose?
And we're off!
Photography was not allowed inside so that's it for now. Here's the look I wore that day.

One last shot. Happy Vesak Day everyone!
Last Thursday evening, a whole bunch of us were invited to a night of colour explosion with the lovely L'Oreal ladies as well as make-up artist Joy Tan (styleatelier.com).
I was very excited to attend the event as the stars of the evening were the 8 new Color infaillible eye shadows (available now at most departmental stores)! I already own a few of them (see swatches here) and they are just lovely.

Apologies for the less than stellar pictures, I had forgotten to bring my camera, not that it would have made much of a difference, but that's not the point. The point is...these eyeshadows are not only beautiful, they are:
Smudge-proof
Rub-proof
Blink-proof
Water-proof
In this new collection, there are 'day' colours (Hourglass Beige, Forever Pink, Flashback Silver & Endless Chocolat) for the meek and mild, and fashion forward colours (All Night Blue, Purple Obsession, Permanent Kaki & Eternal Black) for the bolder souls.

After Joy's make-up demo, we were each given a face chart to try our hand at creating an interesting and avant-garde look.
Before...
Look Ma, no brows!
After...

We were then asked to choose our favourite colour from the lot and guess which shade I chose?

Some people might argue that black is not even a colour but one can never ever go wrong with BLACK. I love black clothes, black shoes, black bags, black accessories, black nails, black hair, black everything! So naturally I gravitated towards this awesome, mysterious and timeless shade.
And here's a little something for you.
Simply send in photos of yourself wearing the infaillible eyeshadow in Eternal Black by 12th May to magicofmakeups@gmail.com and you might stand to win a Samsung ST200F Camera worth $299! Winners will be announced on the L'Oreal Paris Singapore Facebook page and most entries will be featured too.

So hurry and get moving, don't wait!
Here's what I've been up to lately.

Been on a nail art kick recently. Just so you know, even though I keep myself updated on the latest trends and stuff, I'm usually not one to blindly jump onto the bandwagon just to show off that I'm 'in-the-know'. That's just...sad. I very much prefer to draw inspiration from random sources. How about you?
See anything different about this picture?
Nooo not my misshapen nostril or my pores. Lower lah! Yes! They're colour block lips!
I've been getting kinda bored with doing more or less the same looks day in day out so I thought I'd give this a try. And I quite like it!
I kept the eyes simple and understated to bring out the bright lips (not that they needed much help there heh heh).

Would you wear this out?
I've been meaning to open these babies up for the longest time but, being the expert procrastinator I am, it's been put off till...well...now.
So without further ado, here they are! Plus the swatches of course =D
Fierce & Tangy, Audacious Asphalt, Pomegranate Punk
The texture and colour pay off are awesome and they set in no time at all. Plus they won't budge after that. Not one inch. Which has it's pros and cons. Pro being not having to worry about involuntary migration of colours onto places where they shouldn't, and con being not able to blend it out that easily. But I'm sure there are ways to work around that.
Will definitely try them out this weekend and see how they fare. Can't wait for Friday!!!
I was digging around my room and nearly threw away a bag full of these! *horrors*
Can you believe that all these cost $50?! They're priced between $3 - $11 each. Cheaps!
Hearts in a row!
Also got me some geeky glasses B-P
Geek-y.
Can't wait for Friday!!!
Ok so maybe I wasn't as good as I thought I was. Ooops.
But it's so hard to resist grabbing these at the Beauty Asia Fair =D
Also got these from Smoochiez and Chanel
Swatches:
China Glaze Liquid Crystal over Sea Spray, Prism over Secret Peri-Wink-Le
The rest were from Dyon's flea @Scape.
China Glaze Hunger Games Collection
Dress Me Up, Harvest Moon, Stone Cold
Dutch Ya Just Love OPI?, I Have A Herring Problem, Wooden Shoe Like To Know?
I have no more space for polishes zomg...
