I'm clearing my stash periodically so do remember to click on the 'Blog Sale' tab to check out my latest offerings.
Would anyone be interested in some handmade earrings/bracelets?

Wanna make a guess what these are for? What do two seemingly random and unrelated items have in common?
Back story: I'm a veritable magpie who is obsessed with shiny, sparkly things, especially rings. Dainty or chunky, I love them all. Thus most of my numerous rings were housed in this old, heavy display box that I bought many, many years ago.
As my ring collection expanded, it became imperative for me to acquire a better method of storing my precious (costume) jewelry.
So, with some much appreciated inspiration provided by Amy, I cut and I measured and I slit.
Blue and pink look so cute together no?
Ta-daaa!
Can't wait to go Beauty Asia 2012 tomorrow! Woohoo!
This post is so late, I know. In fact, I almost wanted to just skip it altogether. But the OCD in me gave me a kick in the *ahem* hence...quick post rather than no post.
Z-palettes, Physicians Formula Happy Booster Blush & Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks
Milani Liquif'eye Eyeliner, Lip Flash & L.A. Girl Concealer
Sally Hansen Base Coat, China Glaze Polishes, Revlon Lip Butters, Bourjois Eyeshadow & nail art brush
Illamasqua Cream Eyeshadows, Lipsticks & Lipgloss
Vichy moisturizer & Lancome Lipstick
The last two items were bought from the Johor Premium Outlets mall. Can't wait for the CCO to open!
When I think about how far away the next public holiday is gonna be, I can't help but sigh. Especially after the long and luxurious CNY break last month. Ah well...
So how did everyone spend those 4 days of holidays? Wanna know what I did?
I masked...
I got manicured (by Sophia)...

I ate...
...and ate...
I dressed up for day 1...
I dolled up, like REALLY dolled up, for day 2...
I curled my hair...
And tried a soft cut crease...

Ever since I placed my first order on that fateful day in March last year, I have become hooked, an addict to ASOS. I even find that I seldom shop at physical stores anymore.
Here's one of my (not so recent) purchases:

Vero Moda Lace Collar Waisted Dress
Featuring, a round neckline with keyhole tie detail, contrast lace collar, elbow length sleeves, gathered cuffs, high waistline, pleats to waistband, and a mini cut length.
Original £28, now £13
I like this a lot as it is a flattering shade and has a nice cutting. Love the sleeves.
ASOS Bodycon Dress with Off Shoulder
Bodycon mini dress, featuring off shoulder styling with short fitted sleeves, a straight cut neckline and back and a stretch cotton form fitting design.
Original £25, now £10
Erm I have no idea where I threw this dress. I think it's somewhere in a corner of my room. Under a pile of new and unworn clothes. Ooops.
ASOS Shirt with Contrast Placket Detail
Blouse crafted in a semi-sheer chiffon fabric. Featuring a round neckline, long sleeves styling, contrast button fastening cuffs, with a contrast pleat placket front, and a three button fastening to reverse.
Original £30, now £22.50
This will be one of my work wear staples methinks.
ASOS Midi Skirt with Belt
Midi skirt, featuring a high paperbag waist with plaited leather look belt, box pleats, an A-line shape, a midi length, and a concealed zip fastening to reverse.
Original £40, now £30
This one too. I love red 'statement' pieces.
ASOS Mix & Match Bow Front Graduated Pad Bikini Top
Padded bikini top, featuring a ruched bow front design with graduated padding and a knot to the centre, slim adjustable straps and a clip clasp closure to the reverse, with a stretch finish.
Original £12, now £5
Bright and cheery =D
ASOS Boudoir Lace Underwire Bra
Sheer lace underwired bra, scalloped trim and smooth straps, tiny satin bows to centre and straps
Original £16, now £7
8-P
Here's a quick one. I basically used the same products from my previous LOTD except for the Giorgio Armani ETK. I used Khaki Pulse this time. I'll be using Gold Blitz in one of my next LOTDs yay!

Apologies if the colour's not turning out right. Will invest in a better camera soon.
Since Chinese New Year was around the corner, Amy, Kas and I decided to make a trip down to Chinatown to get a feel of the festivities.
I kinda had a notion of how crazy crowded and hot it would be so I dressed for the occasion in my ASOS one-shoulder dress. I used another one of my Giorgio Armani ETK shadows and my Illamasqua bronzer (which I got in August but had not used yet oops).

It was a busy day. In the afternoon, I attended my god-daughter's 1st birthday. Happy Birthday Renee Joy!
Then we trooped down to Chinatown Complex Food Centre and waited...and waited...and waited...and finally ate dinner.
Took some touristy shots of the bustling streets.
This picture is so classic. The 'Cai Shen Ye' looked so extremely fed-up and grumpy, yet he obligingly took photos with the many passers-by.
We ended the evening on a sweet note with a chocolate fondue.
Hope everyone had a great Lunar New Year!
Here's the look I did on this hot and sunny Friday, to catch Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson on their shenanigans. Broke out one of my Urban Decay Super-Saturated High Gloss Lip Colors to use.
Wore my new ASOS dress too. Love the lace collar!

Some random photos taken that day:
Cute rabbits at a pet shop at Great World City.
Yummy pandan cheese swiss roll from Bengawan Solo.
Happy feet with OPI The 'IT' Color.

Hello hello hello!
As promised, I'm here to reveal the goodies in the little black FACESSS bag from my previous post.
I'm sure you've heard of the L'oreal Infaillable Eyeshadows since it first debuted late last year. It sent quite a number of us into a little tizzy as we hunted them down across the island.
They've been compared (texture wise) to the Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Silk Eye Shadows and they do seem to resemble each other closely. Same hybrid pigment-cream consistency and vivid colour payoff. The main difference I noticed is that the L'oreal ones are less sparkly.
There are only 5 shades available here in Singapore and I got 3 of them. Here they are:

Dark purple with subtle pink and blue sparkles
Dark maroon with subtle pink sparkle
Grey with subtle gold and pink sparkles
Brown with gold sheen
Blackened green with gold sparkle
Gold shimmer

Feel like getting Bronze Goddess and Black Onyx!
After 3 day of anguish and agony, I managed to get my laptop repaired (the old hard drive crashed due to wear and tear) and I can now blog with a vengeance! Bwahaha! So happy!!! And the kind uncle at Sim Lim even managed to retrieve most of my data! Woots! Words can't describe how relieved I am right now hee hee.
Really appreciate how hardy my Fujitsu laptop is. I've had it since December 2006 and I was told by the kind uncle that it should last me another 3 years or more. Wheee!!!
Happy CNY everyone!
